Squash: A Decade of Passion

Squash was a huge part of my life—for 10 years, to be exact—before I made the switch to tennis. The fast-paced nature of squash was exhilarating, but it was also incredibly demanding on my knees. Deep down, I knew my knee condition wouldn’t improve, and time wasn’t on my side.

To cut a long story short, my transition to tennis happened almost by accident. It started when I was in the police academy, and our section was preparing for an inter-section sports competition. We were short on players, and the team captain managed to convince me to join the tennis event.

I gave it a shot. I tried. I lost. But I was hooked.

That marked the end of my squash dream and love. I put down my squash rackets, jumped on the tennis bandwagon, and never looked back.
